We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about the St. Jude mission to join our team as the Technology Process Management Specialist.  In this highly collaborative position, you will use process improvement techniques to lead our charge to make workflows more efficient, increase quality and shape processes to maximize business outcome value.


In this role, you will collaborate directly with business and Information Services teams to drive technology process efficiency and optimization. This position is actively involved in and will lead the delivery of technical process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.


This work involves the following:

  • Understanding information technology support services and customer interaction points.
  • Recognizing how technology is used by our business partners and their current process challenges.
  • Identifying waste and applying continuous improvement methodologies to formulate hypotheses and design future-state process flow.
  • Analyzing data to determine key performance metrics for on-going monitoring.

The Technology Process Management Specialist plays an important role in helping foster a culture of sustainable change to deliver business transformation by challenging the status quo of existing processes and always looking to drive improvements.  

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, or a related field required
  • Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • Five (5) years of experience in process mapping, improvement, and reengineering; workflow optimization; and championing transformation
  • Demonstrated experience applying process improvement and reengineering methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data-driven decision-making techniques of using facts, metrics, and data to guide process improvement and process reengineering
  • Proven experience documenting 'as-is' workflows/processes, designing new "to-be" workflows/processes, performing gap analysis, and defining improvements
  • Demonstrated experience applying supply chain management concepts and practices
  • Understanding of healthcare market research and data analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare business operations and procedures preferred.
  • Experience in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) areas of Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management is preferred

Required Credentials


Other Credentials

  • Lean, Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certification preferred.
  • Supply Chain Management certification preferred.
