The Social Work Department is hiring a Social Worker II position in the solid tumor/neuro-oncology clinics. In this role, you will be working with families whose child is going through active treatment. As a Social Worker II, you will be responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, counseling, information/referral/case management, on-call crisis coverage, social work consultation, and facilitation of patient and family groups. In this role, you will be working closely with children, adolescents and young adult patients.

Minimum Education

  • Master's Degree from an accredited social work program with a health care/mental health concentration

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of two years postmasters experience in a medical, mental health, or child services setting
  • Pediatric or child/clinical experience preferred

Other Credentials

  • Tennessee Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required or must obtain within 6 months of employment
