Work Schedule: Monday -Friday; 7:00am -3:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays, occasional overtime
With minimal supervision from the supervisor of Containment or designee, the Biocontainment Technician will:
High School diploma/GED required
Bachelor's degree in animal, biological or related science preferred
Two (2) years of experience in a laboratory animal care facility that includes one (1) year of animal technical experience required
Experience in a biohazard containment facility is preferred
ALAT, LAT, or LATG Certification by the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) required within 18 months of hire.
