  • Overview

    This role is key within the Clinical Informatics arena and supports standard PharmNet functionality and build to include, but not limited to, eMar and Multum updates. This role assists in building new medications and collaborates with core/security analysts to ensure build is appropriate and functional. St. Jude research focuses on many investigational medications and processes.  This role partners with Pharmaceutical Services Informatics to ensure functionality, build and processes meet the organizational and direct care needs of our patients.  Experience with protocols, research and pharmacy charging is a plus.

    Minimum Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or in a Patient Care or Clinically Related Specialty such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory Medicine/Pathology, Respiratory Therapy, etc. is required.
    • Registration, certification (or equivalent) in area of specialty preferred.

    Minimum Experience

      • Minimum three years of experience in a patient care or clinically related specialty such as: Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory Medicine/Pathology, Respiratory Therapy, etc.
      • Must include two years of departmental experience in a designated or defacto role with such responsibilities as Departmental Analyst/Coordination/System Liaison; Project Leader; Systems Support/Development.

      OR

             In lieu of direct patient care or clinically related specialty experience, five (5) years of direct clinical analyst experience may be considered.

      • Experience with Cerner is required.
      • Experience with PharmNet is strong preferred. 
      • Experience with eMar and Multum is strongly preferred.
      • Knowledge of core/security is preferred.
      • Understanding of HL7 is preferred.

    Other Credentials

    • Registration, certification (or equivalent) in area of specialty preferred.
