    If you are are looking to work for an organization that offers hope, can change the life of a child and is ranked by Fortune in the top 100 Best Places to Work, we welcome you to join our collaborative Revenue Integrity and Pharmacy departments where oversight of the Pharmacy Charge Description Master (PCDM) and other Revenue Cycle duties are united.   Duties of the Pharmacy Revenue/Chargemaster Analyst (PRCA) resultantly optimize compliant and timely pharmaceutical charge capture through organizational adherence to coding guidelines, polices/procedures, governmental regulations and processes facilitative of appropriate third party billing.  This position will require that a Credit Check is conducted on the candidate selected for hire.

     

    Work Schedule for this role: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

    Responsibilities

    Under the direct supervision of the Revenue Integrity Supervisor and indirect supervision of the Director, Outpatient Pharmaceutical Services, the Pharmacy Revenue/Chargemaster Analyst role:

    • Acts as an internal and external liaison, problem solver and facilitator for compliant charge capture and PCDM matters
    • Combines working knowledge of charge capture and billing processes as well as familiarity with upstream data architecture, clinical work-flows and downstream billing edits to ensure revenue integrity
    • Routinely collaborates with stakeholders beyond job discipline (e.g, Information Systems, Revenue Cycle Team, Nursing)
    • Impacts financial performance across the service line; distills complex technical information and root causes to easily understandable business summaries for diverse audiences
    • This job has no supervisory responsibilities

    Minimum Education

    • Certified Coder required
    • Bachelor's degree in health administration, health information systems, business or related filed required
    • Master's Degree in related field preferred
    • Certified Pharmacy Technician and/or buyer experience preferred

    Minimum Experience

    • Two (2) years of experience in pediatric/research hospital Pharmacy Chargemaster processes, Pharmacy billing experience required
    • Eight (8) years of related experience may be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

    Other Credentials

    • Preferred that the required Coding Certification be through AAPC or AHIMA and may include one or more of these coding certifications:
      • RHIA, RHIT, Certified Nurse Auditor
      • CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
      • COC (Certified Outpatient Coder)
      • CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist Physician-based) or ROCC (Radiation Oncology Certified Coder)
      • CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician)
      • CBCS (Certified Billing & Coding Specialist)
