  • Overview

    The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations according to hospital/departmental policies and procedures. The chosen candidate will operate in a demanding and fast paced environment which will require highly functioning multitasking skills.  The MRI Tech will also have the ability to interact with employees from several departments such as Anesthetists, Radiation Oncology, Child Life and occasionally Researchers. 

    Minimum Education

    Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging program required.

    Minimum Experience

    Two years of clinical scanning and MRI experience required.

    Siemens – Avanto/Trio MRI systems experience preferred.

    Pediatric experience strongly preferred.

    Experience in a fast paced clinic setting is preferred.

    Required Credentials

    MRI Specialty Registration from ARRT or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
