  • Overview

    As the Senior Clinical Research Power Orders Analyst, you are responsible for day to day coordination, development, and project management of therapeutic patient treatment standard order sets for PowerChart (Power Orders). You review clinical research protocols, understanding both research and clinical aspects of clinical research protocols, and determine the number and design of the Master Order sets. This job gives plenty of variety as you will manage multiple interactions necessary to finalize orders and serve as a primary resource to clinical investigators, research study team members, investigational pharmacists, and the Clinical Informatics orders team in the implementation of Power Orders.

     

    By providing these groups with current research protocol information, you can ensure appropriate translation of Master Orders into electronic Power Orders and advise the Clinical Informatics orders team on clinical research requirements. Working with high performing study teams, you will enjoy this role if you feed off of constant intellectual stimulation.     Minimum Education

    • Bachelor's degree required. Nursing degree highly preferred

    Minimum Experience

    • Five (5) years of experience in clinical research setting or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in developing Master Order sets. Experience in clinical research could include any of the following: patient care, clinical research nursing, or data management including database development and output. Experience with clinical ordering procedures, diagnostic imaging tests, clinical lab tests, Cerner electronic medical records, nursing and pharmacy standards of care strongly preferred. Experience in the use of Information Management Systems preferred
