  • Overview

    The Project Manager-Clinical functions as the primary point of responsibility for successfully managing all projects assigned by the Director, Clinical Informatics Division. This includes enterprise project portfolio management, request management and tracking, resource management, and performance metrics. Works collaboratively with process owners, departmental leadership and staff to promote the effective use of project management in all areas and to maximize the value received from the investment in project management tools and methodologies. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, peers, and senior management.

    Minimum Education

    Bachelor's degree is required

    Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MIS, etc.) preferred

    Minimum Experience

    • Eight (8) years of experience required, including two (2) years of information technology experience and six (6) years of demonstrated project management, supervisory management, or project engineer experience in a dynamic and progressive healthcare/technological environment
    • Or Eight (8) years of experience required, including two (2) years of Super User, Unit Based Educator, trainer or Software Implementation lead and six (6) years bedside care or clinical operations Must have experience leading medium scale implementations with particular focus in clinical services and/or Application areas
    • Experience supporting systems in a health care setting required.
    • Experience with Cerner is strongly preferred.

    One of the following Project Management Institute certifications, PMP, PMI-ACP, or PgMP required or obtainable within one year of hire
