Provides technical skills and expertise for vector production. Performs, evaluates and reports test results as outlined in the laboratory's standard operating procedures. Actively contributes to the efficient and consistent operations within the Vector Core. Ensures that Quality Control procedures are performed. Develops or assists in revising standard operating procedures as needed. Performs vector production troubleshooting. Performs all procedures in compliance with current St. Jude policies. Demonstrates consistent ownership and accountability for all activities.
Bachelor's degree in a laboratory intensive field is required, Master's or PhD preferred
Four (4) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, which includes: two (2) years tissue culture experience with retroviruses and/or adenoviruses and molecular biology is required
Two (2) years of experience with a Master's degree, which includes: one (1) year tissue culture experience with retroviruses and/or adenoviruses and molecular biology is required
Training in a related field required with PhD
