  • Overview

    As the Manager of the Clinical Research Operations, you provide overall coordination of personnel and clinical research efforts for the Psychology department. You are expected to establish relationships with key stakeholders and manage the work-flow of 11 direct reports. Some primary responsibilities are as follows:

    • Address protocol activity needs of research faculty
    • Manage staff and ensure they are equipped to do their job
    • Oversee all regulatory items with protocols assigned to direct reports
    • Coordinate human subjects’ training for department
    • Compile protocol activity reports

    An exciting aspect of this role will be your involvement in managing a new data repository to obtain information from clinical assessments for prospective research purposes.     Minimum Education

    • Bachelor's Degree required in a scientific or healthcare field.

    Minimum Experience

    • Six years related work experience including four years of direct clinical, biomedical, and /or behavioral research experience required.
    • One year of supervisory experience required.
    • One year of project management experience preferred.

    Other Credentials

    • Certification in clinical research from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) must be obtained within three years of assuming the position.
