We have an upcoming unique opportunity for a highly analytical and detailed individual who loves Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Project Management (PM) and Process Improvement. This individual will work on an interactive team and will support all of the core benefits initiatives including those within health benefits, employee wellness and occupational health. This critical role will focus on data mining and extraction, reporting, metrics and trend identification. This person will play a key role in proactive vendor management and will also provide resolution of issues escalated from other Benefits team members in our high touch environment.
A successful candidate in this role will possess experience in Human Resources and/or HRIS and must have core benefits knowledge. Strong database management, vendor management and communication skills are a must, which includes the ability to simplify, summarize and process redesign complicated processes, systems and issues. You must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment and be open and able to quickly change priorities. Lastly, you must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, customer-oriented environment where you will provide solutions with a consultative approach.
During your first year, the following are types of projects to be completed:
• Complete a process flow and functionality needs assessment and work on a absence management project to translate into purchasing new software.
• Manage new health plan designs and change administration which will include data mapping, platform changes and vendor oversight.
• Review desk procedures and make recommendations related to processes and vendor management and vendor reporting.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field required
Five (5) years of professional level experience in Human Resources and experience supporting HR/benefits information systems
