    The Internal Audit Project Manager role will allow for independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's operations. We are seeking an individual who can help this organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role does not require travel.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities for the Internal Audit Project Manager role:

    • Assist the Internal Audit Director in planning, directing, and conducting an objective evaluation of diverse operations and controls within St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to appraise the effectiveness of the system of internal control.
    • Work independently but collaboratively with other department personnel in accomplishing the completion of the annual audit plan as assigned by the Internal Audit Director

    Minimum Experience

    • Five (5) years recent accounting/auditing experience required. Familiarity with audit data analysis software (ACL) preferred
    • Demonstrated administrative and technical capacity to perform at the senior level. Prefer auditing experience or public accounting experience performing audits for health care clients. Internal audit experience preferred. Applications control evaluation experience is desirable
    • Experience with CCH TeamMate Audit Management System preferred

    Minimum Education

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting/auditing or related field is required. Master's degree in accounting/auditing, business administration, or operations management preferred

    Other Credentials

    • Professional certification (Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Fraud Examiner) is preferred. If not CIA certified at time of hire, CIA license must be obtained from the Institute of Internal Auditors within two years of assuming the position.
