Radiation Therapist (Part-time)

The Radiation Therapist delivers photon and proton radiation treatments. Operates a variety of imaging equipment and related software platforms to perform procedures in accordance with both departmental and hospital policy and procedures.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years of experience as a staff radiation therapist in a progressive Radiation Oncology Department preferred. Proton experience preferred.

Minimum Education

Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiation Therapy.  Bachelor Degree Preferred.

Required Credentials


Other Credentials

Certification and registration in Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy. As of July 1, 1999, current incumbents are grandfathered into the role with Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).


MRI and/or CT certification preferred.
