  • Overview

    The High Throughput Bioscience (HTB) Center at St. Jude consists of members with advanced training in biology, chemistry, and engineering. We have professional experience in target identification and validation, assay development, high throughput screening, laboratory automation, and management of scientific collaborations. We are recruiting a senior level scientist in high throughput screening with experience in assay development and screening, or in high-content screening with experience in using imaging-based or flow-based instruments to fill an open position (Job title: HTS Specialist). The HTS Specialist reports to the Director of HTB Center, and is expected to independently lead and implement collaborative projects; present or publish research results; and assist the Center Director in managing the daily operation of the Center.

    Minimum Experience

    Experience with assay development is required. Experience in high throughput screening (biochemical or cell-based) or high-content screening (imaging- or flow cytometry-based and a strong publication record are a plus

     Seven (7) years of relevant experience is required with a Bachelor’s degree

     Six (6) years of relevant experience is acceptable with a Master’s degree

     At least two (2) years of relevant experience is acceptable with a PhD

    Minimum Education

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field required. PhD in biological sciences with relevant postdoctoral training preferred
