We’re currently seeking a Director of Social Work to drive the advancement and innovation of social work services across our institution during a period of growth and expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of programs integrating the mission, vision, and planning for the department within St. Jude’s institutional strategic plan. Our highly collaborative, mission-driven environment requires a team-oriented individual to ensure the integrated delivery of care and represent the department on institutional committees and teams. This is a highly visible leadership position that demands an innovative thinker with excellent tactical capabilities and persistent optimism.
Additional responsibilities include:
Four (4) years post-master's administrative/management experience in a health care setting.
Two (2) years or more of post-masters' administrative/management in pediatric medical setting with catastrophic disease (preferably hematology/oncology) focus is preferred, but not required.
Successful candidates will possess a Master of Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required. Must be able to obtain a Tennessee LCSW certification within 6 months of hire.
